Join us this month for a fantastic discussion with the President and CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. Since 1919, they've worked to "promote and protect the business climate for Illinois". The Chamber remains an independent voice of Illinois business, advocating for policies that foster a competitive business climate for all sectors in the state with an agenda that is decisively pro-growth, pro-business and pro-Illinois.
We're honored to have as our guest, Lou Sandoval, the President and CEO of this powerful Association.
Lou is a multifaceted business leader, corporate board member, entrepreneur and author. As the CEO of the Illinois Chamber, Sandoval is responsible for leading the state's most influential business advocacy organization.
The Chamber has a membership base of over 3,000 members, ranging from large corporations to small businesses, and it serves as the umbrella organization for more than 250 local chambers.
Besides his impressive and extensive business experience, Lou resides on the South Side of Chicago with his spouse and two daughters. He competes in Offshore sailing, with over 30,000 nautical miles navigated and nine victories in the renowned Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. In 2021, he was honored with induction into the Lake Michigan Sailing Hall of Fame.

We meet the FOURTH Thursday Monthly on ZOOM from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and plan to meet In-Person every quarter AS & WHEN ANNOUNCED.
Membership will be tracked consistently to ensure that meaningful participation is possible. Troika participation is encouraged. Repeated requests for "no troika" is not consistent with the goals of the group.
Format: Pre-meeting networking begins at 4:00PM CT. Meeting starts at 4:30PM CT SHARP.
- Host, Group Leader, Assistant Group Leader & EC Member Introductions.
- A brief presentation regarding the topic of the day. Topics will vary but will include variously:
* Break-out sessions to discuss the applicability of the topic to your specific distributor and manufacturer clients.
* Panel discussions with CDAM Group members and outside contributors as well.
* Member spotlights.
This is your opportunity to become familiar with the areas of expertise of your fellow attendees as well as pick up insights on how and when collaboration is possible.
- Thank you’s and testimonials geared toward each other and our Distribution and Manufacturing clients. Describe the nature of the client business and how you and your colleague successfully contributed.
- Brief introductions for those who have not yet introduced their practice area.
- Post-meeting social for 10 minutes
